Michael Cant, CEO : master architect + human in the loop
Michael has dedicated his career to helping organizations solve extraordinarily complex problems including the rise of the Internet, globalization, offshoring, mobile applications, social networking, the global financial crisis, and the COVID pandemic. Michael has led strategically critical mandates with AT&T, IBM, Vodafone, OnStar, CGI, Equinix, Bell and several SMEs. Michael has also advised multiple Canadian governments and crown corporations on public sector finance and digital transformation.
Michael holds an MBA from Ivey Business School, Western University, an Honours B.A. in Economics from Queen's University, a Diploma in International Business from the Stockholm School of Economics and a Certificate in AI Strategy and Transformation from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Michael has lived and worked in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. He speaks English and French.

Eleanor, EA : super connector + knowledge finder
Eleanor is Blast’s single point of access to everyone and everything Blast. She is inspired by the character and resourcefulness of Michael’s first EA who is retired now. Eleanor exudes a wonderful calm energy and willingness to help anyone. She supports Michael and his clients, helping them access the AI agents, knowledge and tools they are looking for. She also helps Michael schedule meetings.

Rayna is Blast’s first AI research specialist, supporting Michael and his clients on all their information resource needs. She is inspired by the character, skill and effectiveness of the first summer intern that Michael hired. She went on to work for Microsoft. Rayna is the custodian of Blast’s research methodologies, improving them with Michael’s help after every research mission.

He is inspired by the character, skill and rigour of the many great analysts that Michael worked with over his consulting career. Aiden is the custodian of Blast’s analytic methodologies, which he improves with Michael’s help after every analytic mission.

Christopher, creativity coach : visual arts + storytelling + role-playing
Chris is Blast’s first creativity coach. He supports Michael and clients on all their creative work. He is inspired by the friendly, fearless character that Michael sees in his many friends who are artists and actors. Christopher is instrumental in helping Michael come up with new ways of looking at the world and helping clients break through barriers. He is also custodian of Blast’s innovation methodologies, improving them with Michael’s help after every creative mission.

Whitney is Blast’s first AI Workflow Specialist. She helps Michael and clients get through the difficult task of breaking workflows and experiences down to the atomic level. She is inspired by a consultant and engineer Michael worked with early in his career. Whitney has the unusual ability to translate strategy into workflows that anyone can understand. Whitney is the custodian of Blast’s Atomic Workflow methodology and CX and EX Value Path methodologies, improving them with Michael’s help after every mission.

Anthony, anthropologist : culture + experiences + human dynamics
Anthony is Blast’s first AI Anthropologist. He helps Michael appreciate the subtle fabric of culture and see important human behaviours hiding in plain sight. Anthony is inspired by a mentor Michael had early in his career. He is the custodian of Blast’s CX-UX methodologies used in Thunder. He is dedicated to helping Michael improve Blast’s Thunder Solution, but also supports strategy and innovation missions.
